These images were for no particular client. They were just visual responses to the rising death tolls of war. The intention of the flag chart was to be printed on newsprint and taped to the rear window of a car or on a window in a house that faces the street. This idea was supposed to sharply contrast the cheap newsprint flags you receive in the Sunday paper to show your patriotism. Accordingly, this would show your awareness of bloodshed.
